Terry Pilcher, Director of BCS Management Services,
has extensive experience in the challenge of improving organisations. Prior to creating the company, he headed up the UK Government’s Management Best Practice Unit, within the Department of Trade and Industry’s Small Business Service where there was a particular emphasis on improving Small to Medium Sized Enterprises (SMEs).
He was also involved with larger companies, universities, government departments, business support agencies, trade associations and consultants. Terry has extensive knowledge of Government within the UK, Europe and many other countries around the world and has an extremely wide network established over many years of working in this area.
The company is a Key Member of the British Quality Foundation where Terry was part of the Executive for many years. He currently sits on the Board of Studies of the Chartered Management Institute of which he is a member. BCS Management Services is also a member of the Global Benchmarking Network.
Terry has been involved with many organisations and initiatives such as the Conference Board of America, the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM), Rethinking Construction, Space Best Practice, etc. He is also a visiting lecturer at Trinity College Dublin and has presented many papers on Best Practice issues at conferences around the world.
